The Road to Forty

The fortieth anniversary of The Big Game rolled into Motor City on February 5, 2006. With the game being played in one of the most iconic American cities, Infinite Scale focused on a dual theme of honoring the past and the history of the Super Bowl and the great and storied history of the automobile in the United States. Odometers, speedometers, muscle car stripes and the American Highway served as inspiration for the look and feel of the game. Large banners with racing stripes created motion and action throughout the system while the logos from each of the first thirty-nine Super Bowls were subtly integrated into the design throughout the stadium.
