NHL Stadium Series, Levi's® Stadium, 2015
Hockey at Levi's® Stadium
Northern California – from the Pacific Ocean to the Silicon Valley to the Sierra Nevada Mountains – set the stage for the first hockey game to be played at Levi’s® Stadium. The NHL® Stadium Series gave the home-team, the San Jose Sharks, the opportunity to gather 70,205 strong to support their team and welcome fans of the current Stanley Cup Champions, the Los Angeles Kings.
“The growing excitement around NHL® hockey in California, the intensity of last season’s playoff series between these teams and the state-of-the-art setting at Levi’s® Stadium will bring a thrilling new dimension to the Kings-Sharks rivalry,” NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said. “We thank the Sharks, the Kings, Coors Light, the San Francisco 49ers, Levi’s® Stadium and everyone involved in producing the next episode of our Coors Light NHL® Stadium Series.”
The NHL® needed a design package that brought the city and the region to life at the event. Infinite Scale combined action graphics from the sport and beloved players to create a custom look and feel that elevated the game for the broadcast viewers and those die-hard fans onsite. It was electric. From the massive exterior banners to the interior stadium fascias, every element was designed for that game.
